Daughters of the King Ministry – Is to serve our priest and church in power prayers to encourage, inspirer and spread the gospel to our sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ. The daughters meet once a month on the third Saturday to organize our plans for our annual and monthly plans. Our outreach is not limited to our church but to the Seaman’s Church Institute.
Our annual quiet day is the third Saturday in March. All are invited for this spiritual solitude of quietness to pray and mediate for discernment.
What Is Our Calling?
Daughters of the King: Is empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughter is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others and to reflect God’s love throughout the world.
Our Rule of Prayer – Daughters seek to grow and deepen their relationship with God through the Rule of Prayer. We fulfill this vow by praying daily for: unity Christ’s Church; the spread of Christ’s Kingdom; God’s blessings upon member of our chapter and our clergy; and the spiritual growth of our parish.
Our Rule of Service – Through the Rule of Service a Daughter seeks to do the will of God every day. It is an application of their baptismal vow in which she strives to be Christ’s faithful servant by growing His Kingdom participating in worship and study, and assisting clergy in the outreach and work of the Church.
